Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan Attacked by Intruder at Home

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, renowned for his roles in films like Omkara, Dil Chahta Hai, and Kal Ho Naa Ho, was attacked late last night by an intruder in his home. The incident left the actor with six stab wounds, and he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for medical treatment.

According to doctors, Khan sustained several injuries and is being closely monitored for his recovery.

The police confirmed that the incident, which occurred around 4 a.m., involved a thief. Authorities are investigating the case further. The attacker, who was reportedly staying in the house, was allegedly attempting to enter Khan's son Jeh’s room when the incident took place. At approximately 2 a.m., Saif heard an argument between the attacker and his female staff member. Upon hearing the commotion, Khan rushed in to intervene, and it is believed the attacker attempted to escape before the confrontation escalated.

The police are currently investigating key questions: Was the attacker connected to the female staff member? How did the attacker gain access to the house?

The shocking incident has sent shockwaves across India, with both fellow actors and politicians expressing concern. Saif Ali Khan has since released an official statement, requesting that his fans and the media remain patient as the matter is under investigation. He promised to provide updates as the situation develops.

Interestingly, Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, shared a photo on Instagram just hours before the incident, showing her spending a quiet night in with her close friends Karisma Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor. It remains unclear whether Kareena was at home at the time of the attack, as she spent her Wednesday night with her friends.

Khan’s elder son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, was the first to rush to his father’s side. Due to the urgency of the situation and the car not being ready to leave, Ibrahim and Saif used an auto rickshaw to reach the hospital, which was about two kilometers from their home. Saif was bleeding heavily, and the quick decision helped them avoid further delay.As the investigation continues, Saif Ali Khan's fans and the general public await updates on his condition. With the police actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the attack, questions remain about the motives behind the intrusion and whether there was any prior connection between the attacker and the household.
